Assessment of coronary flow reserve in nuclear cardiology
Abstract The coronary flow reserve is a quantitative parameter defined by the ratio maximal myocardial blood flow to rest myocardial blood flow, which allows to give functional information on the whole coronary arterial tree, integrating both epicardial arteries and microcirculatory.

73 Heritability of coronary flow reserve [PDF]
Introduction Coronary flow reserve (CRF) is the ratio of peak coronary flow during maximal coronary artery dilatation to basal coronary flow and is an important predictor of coronary microvascular function. A variety of environmental stimuli have been shown to affect CFR but little is known about the genetic component of CFR.

This study reveals a novel crosstalk between hepatic SREBP2‐mediated cholesterol biosynthesis pathway and peripheral lipoprotein lipase‐mediated lipolysis pathway in the regulation of systemic lipid metabolism. Notably, the lipid‐lowering effects of SREBP2 inhibition are independent of a functional LDL receptor, highlighting the potential of acute ...

Cubic Phase‐Inducible Zwitterionic Phospholipids Improve the Functional Delivery of mRNA
In this study, a chemically engineered zwitterionic phospholipids derived from 1,2‐dioleoyl‐3‐sn‐glycero‐phosphoethanolamine (DOPE), DOPE‐Cx, are designed. The DOPE‐Cx lipids induce a cubic phase upon mixing with phosphatidylcholine, facilitate membrane fusion‐mediated endosomal escape, and enhance the functional delivery of mRNA.

Kdm4a downregulation restrains excessive cardiac interstitial fibrosis and remodeling by depressing the premature senescence of fibroblasts in the advanced stage after MI but does not affect early ventricular rupture. It verified that Kdm4a downregulation promotes autophagy in premature senescent fibroblasts by increasing the H3K9m3 modification of the

During a heart attack, neutrophils rapidly activate and differentiate into a specific subset characterized by high levels of MMP9, a tissue‐damaging enzyme, via the SPI1/CST7 pathway. These neutrophils form harmful net‐like structures (Neutrophil extracellular traps, NETs) that exacerbate heart injury.
