Exploring the Lung–Liver Axis in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
Among PAH patients without liver disease, subclinical liver dysfunction quantified by MELD‐Na associates with higher pulmonary vascular resistance and inflammatory activation of the pulmonary endothelium, characterized by an IL‐6‐centered transcriptional network enriched for leukocyte chemotaxis.

This study reports a 25.2% incidence of acute pericardial effusion following vein of Marshall ethanol infusion for persistent atrial fibrillation. The extent of the resulting low‐voltage area was identified as an independent predictor of pericardial effusion, reflecting the magnitude of chemical injury.

ABSTRACT CYP2C19 genetic polymorphisms impact the antiplatelet effect of clopidogrel and associate with ischemic and bleeding risk in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). This study aimed to evaluate the association of CYP2C19 and platelet reactivity (PR) with these risks, in atrial fibrillation (AF) patients undergoing PCI ...

Asialoglycoprotein receptor 1 (ASGR1) is linked to lipid metabolism and CAD, but its role in hypertensive CAD patients is unclear. This single‐center study included 345 hypertensive patients (59 non‐CAD, 286 CAD). Plasma ASGR1 was higher in CAD patients, correlated with multiple markers and HDL‐C, had high diagnostic value (better than traditional ...
