How do physiological networks respond to normobaric hypoxia and isometric exercise?
Abstract The dynamics of physiological systems are impacted by both exercise and hypoxia. Network models can be used to map the interactions between various physiological components in environmental physiology and exercise using the concepts of information theory.

Ghrelin protects against cell death in myocardial ischaemia: Emerging role of microRNA
Abstract Acute myocardial infarction (MI) accelerates cardiomyocyte apoptosis, which underpins ventricular remodelling and dysfunction. The hormone ghrelin mitigates this remodelling, but the mechanisms remain unclear. Specific microRNAs (miRs) are key modulators and reliable biomarkers of early‐stage apoptosis.
