Coronary Sinus Lead Extraction
Cardiac Electrophysiology Clinics, 2015Expanded indications for cardiac resynchronization therapy and the increasing incidence of cardiac implantable electronic device infection have led to an increased need for coronary sinus (CS) lead extraction. The CS presents unique anatomical obstacles to successful lead extraction.

Atresia of the coronary sinus orifice
Pediatric Cardiology, 1985The cases of two children are reported in whom atresia of the right atrial orifice of the coronary sinus was diagnosed at cardiac catheterization. Only one previous case diagnosed in life has been found in the literature, though there are 34 necropsy reports.

Congenital coronary sinus stenosis
Echocardiography, 2016Congenital coronary sinus (CS) stenosis is a rare malformation. We present five patients with congenital coronary sinus stenosis (CSS) and identified another nine cases reported in the literature between 1980 and 2016. Congenital CSS may be associated with an unroofed CS, a coronary artery–coronary sinus fistula, or other cardiac anomalies.

Retrograde Coronary Sinus Perfusion
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 1988"Redo" operations for coronary artery disease have become commonplace. One of the major complications that occurs is perioperative infarction due to embolization of atheromatous material from diseased veins into the distal coronary arteries. Because of this, we began using retrograde coronary sinus perfusion (RCSP) for delivery of cardioplegia to ...

Missed unroofed coronary sinus
Echocardiography, 2019Coronary sinus atrial septal defect (ASD) is a rare congenital cardiac anomaly, which might be difficult to diagnose. In this report, we describe a patient with small secundum ASDs and an associated large coronary sinus ASD, which had been missed at initial evaluation.

Catheterization of the coronary sinus in man
American Heart Journal, 1949Abstract An intravenous catheter was introduced inadvertently into the coronary sinuses of four patients in the course of a series of twenty-five cardiac catheterization studies (a frequency of 16 per cent). Samples of coronary venous blood were taken for oxygen analysis, and pressure tracings were obtained with a Hamilton manometer.
