[Left coronary vessel anomaly and myocardial infarction].

open access: yesArquivos brasileiros de cardiologia, 1993
Anomalous origin of the left main coronary artery from the right anterior aortic sinus is a rare condition (0.02 to 0.07%) and its clinical significance is sometimes controversial. The authors present the case of a 44-year-old female with this anomaly and septal course with clinical, electrocardiographic, scintigraphic and cineangiographic evidences of

A Rare Case of Both Cardiac Myxoma and Left Coronary AVF, Diagnosis, and Management

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 4, April 2025.
ABSTRACT We present the case of a 62‐year‐old woman who was diagnosed with both cardiac myxoma and left coronary AVF, and we go on to discuss the course of her treatment and the outcome. In conclusion, this case study highlights the rare coexistence of an atrial myxoma and a congenital coronary arteriovenous fistula in a 65‐year‐old woman.

Spatial omics strategies for investigating human carotid atherosclerotic disease

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 4, April 2025.
Spatial omics, by facilitating visualised precision medicine and accomplishing the spatial localisation of microscopic substances, is poised to emerge as a crucial tool in future research areas, including the exploration of molecular pathways, the implementation of precision targeted therapies and the refinement of disease diagnostic techniques ...

Aorta–Right Atrial Tunnel in Conjunction With Patent Ductus Arteriosus and Atrial Septal Defect

open access: yesiRADIOLOGY, Volume 3, Issue 2, Page 180-182, April 2025.
Congenital aorta–right atrial tunnel (ARAT) is a rare congenital cardiovascular malformation characterized by an abnormal tunnel‐like connection between the aorta and the right atrium. Patients with ARAT frequently have other congenital heart malformations and require diagnosis through a variety of imaging examinations.

Printing the Procedure

open access: yesJACC: Case Reports, 2020
Cardiac 3-dimensional printing for pre-procedural planning of structural heart procedures is a promising new tool. Despite current potential drawbacks, 3-dimensional models can help cardiologists better understand and treat complex cardiac defects.

Anomalous Left Coronary Artery from the Pulmonary Artery (ALCAPA) Syndrome: Pathophysiology, Clinical Manifestations, and Management Strategies

open access: yesInternational Journal of Medical Science and Clinical Research Studies
Anomalous Left Coronary Artery from the Pulmonary Artery (ALCAPA) syndrome is a rare congenital cardiac anomaly characterized by the abnormal origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery instead of the aortic root. This anomaly results in

Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection in Hyperdominant Left Anterior Coronary Descending Artery

open access: yesJACC: Case Reports
A hyperdominant left anterior descending coronary artery variation is a rare but important diagnosis because of the risk for large-territory ischemia. We describe a very rare presentation of spontaneous coronary artery dissection in the distal portion of
