Coronavirus infection in a litter of pups [PDF]

open access: yesVeterinary Quarterly, 1980
Summary An outbreak of a coronavirus infection in a litter of 10-week-old poodle pups from a commercial kennel is described. Coronavirus-like particles were demonstrated by electron microscopy in the intestinal contents and in the colonic mucosa. Treponemas and campylobacters were excreted in great numbers in the faeces.

Epidemiological study of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Community Medicine and Public Health, Volume 8, Issue 3, Pages 1369, 2021, 2020
We report a statistical analysis of some highly infected countries by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The cumulative infected data were fitted with various growth models (e.g. Logistic equation, Weibull equation and Hill equation) and obtained the power index of top ten highly infected countries.

Effects of Coronavirus Infections in Children

open access: yesEmerging Infectious Diseases, 2010
The isolation of the coronavirus (CoV) identified as the cause of severe acute respiratory syndrome and the detection of 2 new human CoVs (HCoV-NL63 and HCoV-HKU1) have led to studies of the epidemiology and clinical and socioeconomic effects of infections caused by all HCoVs, including those known since the late 1960s (HCoV-229E and HCoV-OC43).
