SSRN Electronic Journal, 2015On the web, in the media, amongst the academia everywhere CSR is either wrongly defined or incompletely represented or misnamed. From selfless owner’s personal charity to corporate marketing strategy all are claimed as CSR. In this state of ambiguity, in guise of CSR, corporations may be harming the society in most irresponsible way.
