Abstract In oncology drug development, measuring drug concentrations at the tumor site and at the targeted receptor remains an ongoing challenge. Positron emission tomography (PET)‐imaging is a promising noninvasive method to quantify intratumor exposure of a radiolabeled drug (biodistribution data) and target saturation by treatment doses in vivo ...

Risperidone and Corrected QT-interval Prolongation in Surface Electrocardiogram
Risperidone is an antipsychotic medication suspected of causing QT prolongation and several cases are reported in this regard. However, available information with respect to its effect on QT interval is limited especially from different settings. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of risperidone in lengthening QT interval among psychotic ...

Functional data analytic approach of modeling ECG T-wave shape to measure cardiovascular behavior
The T-wave of an electrocardiogram (ECG) represents the ventricular repolarization that is critical in restoration of the heart muscle to a pre-contractile state prior to the next beat.

Efficient, Reversible Lead Adsorption in a Thiol‐Decorated Zirconium‐Metal–Organic Framework
A thiol‐decorated Zr‐MOF, Zr‐DMSA, efficiently captures Pb(II) from water via mixed S/O chelation enabled by flexible “dangling” ligands, as revealed by solid‐state NMR and pair distribution function analyses. Treatment with 1 M HCl fully reverses Pb binding, regenerating the material for up to 10 consecutive adsorption–desorption cycles.

Abstract Revived interest in psychedelic‐assisted therapies has also renewed focus on ibogaine, a psychoactive alkaloid, for its notable anti‐addictive potential. Evidence from observational, open‐label, and limited randomized placebo‐controlled trials indicates that ibogaine and its metabolite noribogaine reduce craving and withdrawal symptoms in ...
