Error correction with feedback for asymmetric errors
Proceedings. International Symposium on Information Theory, 2005. ISIT 2005., 2005This paper introduces a type-I hybrid ARQ scheme for the Z-channel, based on a class of codes which can correct t asymmetric errors and further detect d (d > t) more. The specific parameters of the ARQ schemes are considered and an upper bound on the probability of undetected error is derived.

Using online annotations to support error correction and corrective feedback
Computers & Education, 2009Abstract Giving feedback on second language (L2) writing is a challenging task. This research proposed an interactive environment for error correction and corrective feedback. First, we developed an online corrective feedback and error analysis system called Online Annotator for EFL Writing .

Tailoring Feedback by Correcting Student Answers
2000Constraint-based models [7] represent the domain by describing states into which a solution may fall, and testing that solutions in a state are consistent with the problem being solved. Constraints have a relevance condition (which defines the state) and a satisfaction condition (which tests the integrity of the solution.) In this paper we present a ...
