A pseudo-matched filter for chaos

open access: yes, 2012
A matched filter maximizes the signal-to-noise ratio of a signal. In the recent work of Corron et al. [Chaos 20, 023123 (2010)], a matched filter is derived for the chaotic waveforms produced by a piecewise-linear system.

TensorTrack: Tensor Decomposition for Video Object Tracking

open access: yesMathematics
Video Object Tracking (VOT) is a critical task in computer vision. While Siamese-based and Transformer-based trackers are widely used in VOT, they struggle to perform well on the OTB100 benchmark due to the lack of dedicated training sets. This challenge

A second-order PHD filter with mean and variance in target number [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The Probability Hypothesis Density (PHD) and Cardinalized PHD (CPHD) filters are popular solutions to the multi-target tracking problem due to their low complexity and ability to estimate the number and states of targets in cluttered environments.

End-to-end representation learning for Correlation Filter based tracking [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The Correlation Filter is an algorithm that trains a linear template to discriminate between images and their translations. It is well suited to object tracking because its formulation in the Fourier domain provides a fast solution, enabling the detector

Fast Fourier Transform Networks for Object Tracking Based on Correlation Filter

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In this paper, we propose fast Fourier transform networks for object tracking, called FFTNet. FFTNet is a correlation filter (CF)-based tracker that integrates two main components of CF, i.e., auto correlation and cross correlation between the features ...

Multi-layer Rotation Memory Model-based correlation filter for visual tracking

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2022
Object tracking technology is of great significance in laser image processing. However, occlusion or similar interference during visual object tracking may reduce the tracking precision or even cause tracking failure.

Therapeutic Apheresis for Intravenous Methylprednisolone‐Refractory Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: Clinical and Radiological Outcomes in a Single‐Center Case Series

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

Visual Tracking With Long-Short Term Based Correlation Filter

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Visual object tracking is a fundamental problem in computer vision, and has been greatly improved with the rapid development of deep learning. However, existing tracking methods with single model update strategy cannot guarantee the robustness of tracker

Effect of nonlinear filters on detrended fluctuation analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We investigate how various linear and nonlinear transformations affect the scaling properties of a signal, using the detrended fluctuation analysis (DFA).

An FIR Notch Filter for Adaptive Filtering of a Sinusoid in Correlated Noise [PDF]

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2006
A novel adaptive FIR filter for the estimation of a single-tone sinusoid corrupted by additive noise is described. The filter is based on an offline optimization procedure which, for a given notch frequency, computes the filter coefficients such that the frequency response is unity at that frequency and a weighted noise gain is minimized.
