Correlation function and mutual information
Correlation function and mutual information are two powerful tools to characterize the correlations in a quantum state of a composite system, widely used in many-body physics and in quantum information science, respectively.

The Poisson Correlation Function [PDF]
In this study, the use of factorial moments and factorial moment generating functions as applied (2) to the Poisson frequency function and Charlier's Type B function is further extended towards developing a theory of these distributions for the case of two or more correlated variables.

Conformal covariant correlation functions
The general constraints of “full conformal symmetry”, on n-point correlation functions are discussed. An identity for the three-point correlation function is derived from conformal symmetry, which allows to derive an integral representation for any “irreducible” conformal graph.

Correlation functions in disordered systems [PDF]
{Recently, we found that the correlation between the eigenvalues of random hermitean matrices exhibits universal behavior. Here we study this universal behavior and develop a diagrammatic approach which enables us to extend our previous work to the case in which the random matrix evolves in time or varies as some external parameters vary.

The percolating cluster is invisible to image recognition with deep learning
We study the two-dimensional site-percolation model on a square lattice. In this paradigmatic model, sites are randomly occupied with probability p ; a second-order phase transition from a non-percolating to a fully percolating phase appears at ...

Two-dimensional correlation function of binary black hole coalescences
We compute the two-dimensional correlation functions of the binary black hole coalescence detections in LIGO-Virgo's first and second observation runs. The sky distribution of binary black hole coalescence events is tested for correlations at different ...

Correlation functions and spin [PDF]
The k-electron correlation function of a free chaotic electron beam is derived with the spin degree of freedom taken into account. It is shown that it can be expressed with the help of correlation functions for a polarized electron beam of all orders up to k and the degree of spin polarization.

χ-systems for correlation functions [PDF]
Abstract We consider the strong coupling limit of 4-point functions of heavy operators in $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 4 SYM dual to strings with no spin in AdS. We restrict our discussion for operators inserted on a line.

Space-time velocity correlation function for random walks
Space-time correlation functions constitute a useful instrument from the research toolkit of continuous-media and many-body physics. We adopt here this concept for single-particle random walks and demonstrate that the corresponding space-time velocity ...

The problem of calculation of correlation functions in the six-vertex model with domain wall boundary conditions is addressed by considering a particular nonlocal correlation function, called row configuration probability.
