ABSTRACT Background The management of clinically apparent single lesions or oligofocal nephroblastomatosis, a facultative precursor of nephroblastoma, remains debated. Methods We retrospectively analyzed 37 patients with clinically apparent single or oligofocal nephroblastomatosis (two to three lesions per kidney) among 2347 patients registered between

Detecting groups of equidistant frequencies in spectra of geomagnetic pulsations
This paper presents a revised version of the new signal processing method based on the analysis of a specially constructed correlation function of amplitude and phase fluctuations (APCF).

Inpatient Food Insecurity and Pediatric Hematology Oncology Hospitalization Outcomes
ABSTRACT Children with cancer and blood disorders are at risk for food insecurity (FI). We aimed to describe the association of inpatient food insecurity (IFI) and hospitalization outcomes among patients admitted to the pediatric hematology oncology service. Of 325 caregivers screened for IFI, 60 (18.6%) screened positive.

Recurrent relations for correlation functions
We have considered the basic problem of the mathematical description of the viscous motion of a metallic melt, accompanied by the overcoming of internal friction caused by the motion of the melt particles and the overcoming of the forces of their ...

Correlated correlation functions in random-bond ferromagnets [PDF]
The two-dimensional random-bond Q-state Potts model is studied for Q near 2 via the perturbative renormalisation group to one loop. It is shown that weak disorder induces cross-correlations between the quenched-averages of moments of the two-point spin/spin and energy/energy correlation functions, which should be observable numerically in specific ...

Reference system approach within the white-dwarfs theory
Reference system approach of non-relativistic electron fluid theory was adapted for calculation of characteristics of the electron-nuclear model at the densities typical of degenerate dwarfs.

The Poisson Correlation Function [PDF]
In this study, the use of factorial moments and factorial moment generating functions as applied (2) to the Poisson frequency function and Charlier's Type B function is further extended towards developing a theory of these distributions for the case of two or more correlated variables.

Conformal covariant correlation functions
The general constraints of “full conformal symmetry”, on n-point correlation functions are discussed. An identity for the three-point correlation function is derived from conformal symmetry, which allows to derive an integral representation for any “irreducible” conformal graph.

Correlation functions in disordered systems [PDF]
{Recently, we found that the correlation between the eigenvalues of random hermitean matrices exhibits universal behavior. Here we study this universal behavior and develop a diagrammatic approach which enables us to extend our previous work to the case in which the random matrix evolves in time or varies as some external parameters vary.
