PROCESS FLUIDS FOR RECOVERING IMPERMEABILITY OF WELL ANNULUS OF SUBMERGED RESERVOIRS IN ROCK-SALT

open access: yesВестник Северо-Кавказского федерального университета, 2022
When operated long-term, wells for underground gas storage in rock-salt show corrosive wear in the casings, as well as disturbed insulating capacity in the annulus, which results in need for repair works.

Shaping Carbon Nitrides for Advanced Macrostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This review examines how carbon nitride can be shaped through a range of printing and interfacial assembly methods. By bringing together additive manufacturing and liquid–liquid structuring concepts, carbon nitride is moving beyond its traditional powder‐based photocatalyst form toward digitally designed robust macroscale architectures with high design

Solid Particle‐Liquid Metal Mixtures for Robust High‐Current Interconnects in Stretchable Electronics and Soft Robotics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Metallic microparticles dispersed in liquid metal interconnects mitigate electromigration‐induced failure by reconfiguring internal current density distributions. These fillers facilitate the growth of a robust, protective gallium oxide shell at elevated temperatures, shifting the failure threshold toward a thermal limit.

Corrosive Wear of Ti-6AI-4V Coupled With Ultrahigh Molecular Weight Polyethylene.

open access: yes, 1981
Failure of metals is due to one of three phenomena: fracture, corrosion, or wear. When two of these principal factors couple to form corrosive wear, a very serious and complicated problem arises.

Testing and Simulation of Multilayer Polyvinylidene Fluoride‐Based Piezoelectric Energy Harvester Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The study considers the use of polymer/dielectric‐based multilayers piezoelectric Energy Harvesters (EH) to produce an output voltage and current, by exploiting the mechanical energy provided by human organs movements. In particular, the heart motion is considered from the kinematic viewpoint, and a multiphysics theoretical model is developed to assess

Wear mechanism study of exhaust valve system in modern heavy duty combustion engines

open access: yes, 2011
The increasing demands from environmental legislations are changing the conditions that the valve system is exposed to in heavy duty engines. Increased pressures, higher temperatures and lower amounts of soot which can build up a protective film are some
