Superelastic NiTi coatings with good corrosive wear resistance
In the present study corrosive wear resistance of NiTi coatings produced by hot isostatic pressing (HIPping) were tested using a slurry pot type of equipment. The samples were rotated in a slurry that contained 100g/l of quartz sand in liquid.

The Effect of Oil-Water Ratio of Drilling Fluid on the Tribological Properties of 2Cr13 Casing
There are few studies on the influence of drilling fluid lubrication performance on the wear behavior of tubing and casing. In view of this, G105 steel and 2Cr13 steel are used as friction pairs to study the effect of oil-water ratio of drilling fluid on

In Vitro Wear Of Resin-based Materials--simultaneous Corrosive And Abrasive Wear.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the wear of resin-based materials caused by the association of abrasive and corrosive processes. Twenty specimens were prepared for each material, cast in epoxy in acrylic rings, polished, and profiled with an MTS 3D

MXene‐Based Room‐Temperature NO2 Gas Sensors: A Meta‐Analysis
This study presents the first comprehensive meta‐analysis of MXene‐based NO2 sensors, decoding 32 study characteristics across 61 peer‐reviewed studies. By isolating materials chemistry as the primary performance driver over device‐level parameters, the authors establish a methodological blueprint and a predictive structure–function map to accelerate ...

A dilute hybrid electrolyte containing only 10 mol% [EMIM][DEP] simultaneously reorganizes the water hydrogen‐bond network and creates an ionic‐liquid‐rich region at the anode. This coupled bulk and interfacial regulation suppresses freezing and hydrogen evolution, broadens the electrochemical stability window, and enables an aqueous LMO/LTP full cell ...

A Scalable Double‐Sided Wet Etching Strategy for Large‐Area Mushroom‐Shaped Bionic Adhesives
This work presents a scalable manufacturing strategy for high‐performance, large‐area, mushroom‐shaped bio‐inspired adhesives. Using a double‐sided wet etching process, the complex 3D metal molds are fabricated rapidly and controllably. The resulting adhesive structures exhibit strong, stable adhesion under various conditions, including atmosphere and ...

A dual‐network hydrogel was prepared via a one‐pot method, incorporating vermiculite nanosheets as an additive. The negatively charged vermiculite nanosheets not only coordinate with zinc ions to facilitate Zn plating/stripping and suppress Zn dendrite growth, but also adsorb polyiodides to inhibit the shuttle effect, which significantly improves the ...
