合成桁の鋼桁とコンクリートフランジとの間のずれ止めには, 通常頭付きスタッドが用いられる. 本論文では, 鋼桁のウェブに波形鋼板を用いた場合のずれ止めとして実績のある, 波形鋼板に孔をあけ, そこに鉄筋を通す接合構造 (埋込み接合と呼ぶ) の疲労強度を実験的な面から検討した. その結果, 波形鋼板ウェブに用いる埋込み接合は疲労に対しても十分な安全性を有していることがわかった.

This article is devoted to the study of the possibility of replacing a flat web in runway beams with a corrugated one in order to increase the reliability and stability of welded joints. In the study, an analysis of stresses in the structure of two types of web outlines was carried out, the features and advantages of corrugated webs were revealed.
