Granulomatous Omentitis in Multiple Sheep Associated With Trueperella pyogenes and Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis: A Case Series. [PDF]

open access: yesVet Med Sci
Of 6000 sheep inspected, 0.5% had granulomatous omentitis. All affected cases (25/25) were co‐infected with Trueperella pyogenes and Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, as confirmed by PCR. This suggests a synergistic role for both bacteria in causing chronic abdominal inflammation in sheep.

CLINICO - BACTERIOLGICAL AND THERAPEUTIC STUDEIES ON CORYNEBACTERIUM - PSEUDO TUBERCULOSIS INFECTION IN CAMELS IN ASSIUT GOVERNORATE -EGYPT [PDF]

open access: yesAssiut Veterinary Medical Journal, 1999
Twenty-two (6.29%) cases of the total clinically examined camels (350) showed cold skin abscesses on the neck, shoulder and hind-legs. The superficial cervical lymphnodes of the infected camels were enlarged, suppurative and necrosed.

Diphtheroids-Important Nosocomial Pathogens [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2016
Introduction: Diphtheroids are defined as aerobic, nonsporulating, pleomorphic Gram-positive bacilli which are more uniformly stained than Corynebacterium diphtheriae, lack the metachromatic granules and are arranged in a palisade manner.
