On a maximal subgroup of the Symplectic group Sp(4,4) [PDF]

open access: yesAUT Journal of Mathematics and Computing, 2023
This paper is dealing with a split extension group of the form 26 :(3× A5), which is the largest maximal subgroup of the Symplectic group Sp(4, 4). We refer to this extension by G.

A monogamy-of-entanglement game for subspace coset states [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum, 2022
We establish a strong monogamy-of-entanglement property for subspace coset states, which are uniform superpositions of vectors in a linear subspace of $\mathbb{F}_2^n$ to which has been applied a quantum one-time pad.

Double coset Markov chains

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma, 2023
Let G be a finite group. Let $H, K$ be subgroups of G and $H \backslash G / K$ the double coset space. If Q is a probability on G which is constant on conjugacy classes ( $Q(s^{-1} t s) = Q(t)$ ), then the random walk driven by Q on G ...

On a Maximal Subgroup of the Affine General Linear Group of GL(6, 2) [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Group Theory and Applications, 2021
The affine general linear group 2^5:GL(5, 2) of GL(6, 2) has 6 conjugacy classes of maximal subgroups. The largest maximal subgroup is a group of the form 2^(1+8)_+ : GL(4, 2). In this paper we firstly determine the conjugacy classes of G using the coset

Dynamically restoring conformal invariance in (integrable) $\sigma$-models

open access: yesSciPost Physics, 2023
Integrable $\lambda$-deformed $\sigma$-models are characterized by an underlying current algebra/coset model CFT deformed, at the infinitesimal level, by current/parafermion bilinears.

The character table of a subgroup $2^7{:}G_2 (2)$ of $Sp_8(2)$ [PDF]

open access: yesAUT Journal of Mathematics and Computing
In this paper, the ordinary character table of a finite extension of structure $\overline{G}=2^7{:}G_2(2)$ is computed via the Fischer-Clifford matrices technique.

On an imprimitive maximal subgroup of $SU_7(2)$ [PDF]

open access: yesAUT Journal of Mathematics and Computing
The special unitary group $SU_{n}(q)$ has a maximal imprimitive subgroup with the structure $(q+1)^{n-1}{:}S_{n}$. The exceptions when the subgroup is not maximal are $SU_{3}(5)$, $SU_{4}(3)$ and $SU_{6}(2)$.

Comments on the symmetry of AdS6 solutions in string/M-theory and Killing spinor equations

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
It was recently pointed out in [1] that AdS6 solutions in IIB theory enjoy an extended symmetry structure and the consistent truncation to D=4 internal space leads to a nonlinear sigma model with target SL(3,R)/SO(2,1).

Twisted strings in three-dimensional black holes

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
We revisit the classical dynamics of fundamental strings in BTZ black holes with NSNS flux. We analyze probe strings in the black hole background and determine their classical energy using a Nambu–Goto action.
