The Growth-Rate of Cosine Families
The authors study the growth rate of a cosine family of operators generated by a linear operator \(A\) in terms of the resolvent of \(A\) and the semigroup generated by \(A\).

Cosine families of operators in a class of Fréchet spaces [PDF]
M. sova [10] proved that the infinitesimal generator of all uniformly continuous cosine family, of operators in Banach space, is a bounded operator. We show by counter-example that the result mentioned above is not true in general on Fréchet spaces, and we prove that the infinitesimal generator of an uniformly continuous cosine family of operators in a

Zero-two law for cosine families [PDF]
For $\left(C(t)\right)_{t \geq 0}$ being a strongly continuous cosine family on a Banach space, we show that the estimate $\limsup_{t\to 0^{+}}\|C(t) - I\| <2$ implies that $C(t)$ converges to $I$ in the operator norm. This implication has become known as the zero-two law.

Transmuted cosine Topp-Leone G family of distributions: properties and applications
In contemporary data analysis, the need for flexible and adaptable probabilistic models capable of capturing complex dependencies and tail behaviors in real-life datasets has become increasingly apparent.

Interval-Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Ordered Weighted Cosine Similarity Measure and Its Application in Investment Decision-Making [PDF]
We present the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted cosine similarity (IVIFOWCS) measure in this paper, which combines the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy cosine similarity measure with the generalized ordered weighted averaging ...

A zero-sqrt(5)/ 2 law for cosine families
Let $a \in \R,$ and let $k(a)$ be the largest constant such that $sup\vert cos(na)-cos(nb)\vert \textless{} k(a)$ for $b\in \R$ implies that $b \in \pm a+2π\Z. $ We show that if a cosine sequence $(C(n))\_{n\in \Z}$ with values in a Banach algebra $A$ satisfies $sup\_{n\ge 1}\Vert C(n) -cos(na).1\_A\Vert \textless{} k(a),$ then $C(n)=cos(na)$ for $n\in

Cosine families in GDP Quojection-Fréchet spaces
We prove that if the Quojection-Fréchet space $X$ is a Grothendieck space with the Dunford-Pettis property, then every $C_ {0}$-cosine family is necessarily uniformly continuous and therefore its infinitesimal generator is a continuous linear operator.
