I briefly recall the main properties of the Cosmic Microwave Background. In this very short presentation, I do not go into the details which may be found in the recent and excellent review papers by White, Scott & Silk (1994) and Bond (1995). At the light of the most recent observational results, the CMB appears to confirm very well the big bang models.
