Neutrinos And Big Bang Nucleosynthesis [PDF]
According to the standard models of particle physics and cosmology, there should be a background of cosmic neutrinos in the present Universe, similar to the cosmic microwave photon background.

Towards the physical vacuum of cosmic inflation
There have been long debates about the initial condition of inflationary perturbations. In this work we explicitly show the decay of excited states during inflation via interactions. For this purpose, we note that the folded shape non-Gaussianity can be interpreted as the decay of the non-Bunch-Davies initial condition.

This work presents a tailored solid‐state route to enhance DRX fluorination and electrochemical performance. Using unconventional precursors, Li6MnO4, MnF2, and TiO2, prevents Mn‐based intermediates, which do not accommodate fluorines, enabling the formation of highly fluorinated DRX with a composition of Li1.23Mn0.40Ti0.37O2−yFy (y = 0.29–0.34 ...

Salted Identities: Biocultural Heritage for a Rehumanized Ocean Management in South Africa
SUMMARY In this article, I discuss coastal and oceanic biocultural heritage and its relevance to a transformed perception of the ocean and coast in South Africa. An anthropology of biocultural heritage at the coast reveals the multidimensional nature of personhoods—specifically transspecies, trans‐material forms of personhood—and the rich dialogical ...

Correcting for static shift of magnetotelluric data with airborne electromagnetic measurements: a case study from Rathlin Basin, Northern Ireland [PDF]
Galvanic distortions of magnetotelluric (MT) data, such as the static-shift effect, are a known problem that can lead to incorrect estimation of resistivities and erroneous modelling of geometries with resulting misinterpretation of subsurface ...

Signals of Inflationary Models with Cosmic Strings [PDF]
A class of well-motivated models of inflation end by producing cosmic strings. The current status of efforts to calculate and observe the signals from such models are outlined, with a particular emphasis on cosmic strings, and on the Cosmic Microwave Background signal.

Origin and Propagation of Extremely High Energy Cosmic Rays
Cosmic ray particles with energies in excess of 10**(20) eV have been detected. The sources as well as the physical mechanism(s) responsible for endowing cosmic ray particles with such enormous energies are unknown.

Swarm‐Optimized ZnO/CdS/CIGS/GaAs Solar Cell for Enhanced Efficiency and Thermal Resilience
This article addresses the problem of optimizing the efficiency and thermal resilience of ZnO/CdS/CIGS solar cells, which are promising but still face challenges in maximizing performance under high‐temperature conditions and concentrated sunlight. The main issue is enhancing the efficiency of these cells while also ensuring that they can withstand the
