Thermodynamics in Loop Quantum Cosmology
Loop quantum cosmology (LQC) is very powerful to deal with the behavior of early universe. Moreover, the effective loop quantum cosmology gives a successful description of the universe in the semiclassical region.

An exploratory study of the cosmology of moduli in string theory. Moduli are argued to be natural inflaton fields and lead to a robust inflationary cosmology in which inflation takes place at the top of domain walls. The amplitude of microwave background fluctuations constrains the dynamics responsible for inflation to take place at a higher scale than

Religion, theology and cosmology
Cosmology is one of the predominant research areas of the contemporary world. Advances in modern cosmology have prompted renewed interest in the intersections between religion, theology and cosmology.

Over the past three years we have determined the basic features of our Universe. It is spatially flat; accelerating; comprised of 1/3 a new form of matter, 2/3 a new form of energy, with some ordinary matter and a dash of massive neutrinos; and it apparently began from a great burst of expansion (inflation) during which quantum noise was stretched to ...

Plaints soient les Indiens du cosmos
While since the late 1960s, Americans draw in the Native American culture hoping to give a sense of their life back in a materialist society, the NASA space programme reflects a cosmology and an ethos injuring Zuni cosmology.

Cosmological analogies for geophysical flows, Lagrangians, and new analogue gravity systems
Formal analogies between the ordinary differential equations describing geophysical flows and Friedmann cosmology are developed. As a result, one obtains Lagrangian and Hamiltonian formulations of these equations, while laboratory experiments aimed at ...

We explore the cosmological solutions of a recently proposed extension of General Relativity with a Lorentz-invariant mass term. We show that the same constraint that removes the Boulware-Deser ghost in this theory also prohibits the existence of homogeneous and isotropic cosmological solutions.

Precession of timelike bound orbits in Kerr spacetime
Astrometric observations of S-stars provide a unique opportunity to probe the nature of Sagittarius-A* (Sgr-A*). In view of this, it has become important to understand the nature and behavior of timelike bound trajectories of particles around a massive ...
