Electrospun Poly (Glycerol Sebacate) (PGS) Membranes for Corneal Tissue Engineering
Fibrous PGS membranes that are composed of homogenous fibers are fabricated by electrospinning. Durability and permeability of the membranes closely resemble the natural cornea. Thereby, successfully supporting the proliferation of human corneal epithelial cells (HCEC) and human corneal endothelial cells (HCEndC).

Cell Apoptosis and Glucocorticoid‐Induced Osteonecrosis
The review identifies glucocorticoid‐induced osteocyte/osteoblast apoptosis as central to femoral head osteonecrosis (GION), mediated through STAT1‐caspase‐3, PI3K/Akt, Wnt/β‐catenin, and oxidative stress pathways. Emerging therapies targeting these pathways (e.g., HIF‐1α stabilization, AMPK activation, and exosome‐mediated miRNA delivery) show ...

A geriatrician's approach to managing the complex older adult with obesity
Abstract The prevalence of obesity in older adults is rapidly increasing due to the demographic shift occurring globally. Older adults with obesity face health care challenges due to multimorbidity, functional dependency, and disability. This population often has prior history of struggles through weight‐loss attempts during the middle years of life ...
