Prenatal Presentation of RMRP‐Related Skeletal Dysplasia: Clinical and Genomic Expansion

ABSTRACT The RNA subunit of the mitochondrial RNA processing endoribonuclease complex is encoded by RMRP. Biallelic variants in RMRP are known for anauxetic dysplasia 1 (AD), cartilage‐hair hypoplasia (CHH), and metaphyseal dysplasia without hypotrichosis.

Seasonal Fluctuations of Plastochromanol‐8 and α‐Tocopherol Amounts in the Leaves of Cecropia Trees

ABSTRACT Plastochromanol‐8 (PC‐8) is a homologue of γ‐tocotrienol with a longer side chain (eight instead of three isoprene units) and therefore also a representative of the tocochromanol (vitamin E) group. PC‐8 has been determined in various plants and seeds, with Cecropia sp. leaves showing unusually high levels.

A Costas loop with Differential Coding

When a Costas loop is used for QAM demodulation, the received constellation diagram rotates. Rotation causes degradation of the symbol error rate (SER). In this paper we propose differential coding to eliminate the effects of rotation, with SER of  0.004 at SNR of 0 dB.

Abstract The tongue‐bite apparatus (TBA) is a secondary jaw system found in Osteoglossomorpha and, convergently, Salmonidae. It is thought to have similar prey‐processing functions as the pharyngeal jaws, possibly allowing the oral jaws to evolve separately for more efficient prey capture.
