Streptavidins Coordinate Biotin Sequestration and Self‐Resistance Within a Biotin‐Pathway Antibiotic Network

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conserved genomic region between two streptavidin genes in Streptomyces packages biosynthetic gene clusters for diverse biotin‐pathway antibiotics: acidomycin, stravidin, the new non‐proteinogenic amino acid ANDA, and the new BioA inhibitor α‐methyl‐KAPA.

Crystal Facet‐Polysaccharide Matching in CFS‐P Nanocrystals Drives Fungal Uptake, Vacuole Destruction, and Selective Antifungal Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Facet‐engineered PVP‐capped CuFeSe2 nanocrystals exhibit potent, selective antifungal activity by strongly binding cell‐wall mannan, enabling vacuolar entry and organelle disruption. High‐index facets show superior mannan affinity, validated by theoretical calculations and experiments. CFS‐P induces vacuolar cavitation, mitochondrial abnormalities, and

Helicalization of Covalent Organic Framework Nanofibers with Amplified Spin Polarizability for Boosting Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A non‐covalent chirality‐induced strategy via chiral solvents is presented to synthesize helical 2D COF nanofibers with high crystallinity, high chirality, and high spin polarization. The helical structure enhances the concentration of photogenerated charges, suppresses exciton recombination, and extends carrier lifetimes, thereby significantly ...

Field‐Driven Activation of Solid‐State Devices in Open Circuits for Energy Harvesting and Wireless Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Time‐varying electric fields can activate solid‐state devices such as LEDs and capacitors for energy harvesting and powering in open circuits. The response of solid‐state devices to time‐varying electric fields caused by vibrations can be utilised for smart sensing of human motions and object vibrations.
