Graphene Oxide‐Based Antibacterial Cotton Fabrics
Advanced Healthcare Materials, 2013AbstractGraphene oxide (GO) is an excellent bacteria‐killing nanomaterial. In this work, macroscopic applications of this promising nanomaterial by fixing GO sheets onto cotton fabrics, which possess strong antibacterial property and great laundering durability, are reported.

Cotton Fabrics with Single-Faced Superhydrophobicity
Langmuir, 2012This article reports on the fabrication of cotton fabrics with single-faced superhydrophobicity using a simple foam finishing process. Unlike most commonly reported superhydrophobic fabrics, the fabrics developed in this study exhibit asymmetric wettability on their two faces: one face showing superhydrophobic behavior (highly nonwetting or water ...

Fabrication of cotton fabric with superhydrophobicity and flame retardancy
Carbohydrate Polymers, 2013A simple and facile method for fabricating the cotton fabric with superhydrophobicity and flame retardancy is described in the present work. The cotton fabric with the maximal WCA of 160° has been prepared by the covalent deposition of amino-silica nanospheres and the further graft with (heptadecafluoro-1,1,2,2-tetradecyl) trimethoxysilane.

Fabrication of superoleophobic cotton fabric for multi-purpose applications
Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences, 2019Superoleophobicity is of interest for practical applications such as liquid repellency, self-cleaning, stain resistance, anti-bacterial properties and oil–water separation. In this work, the superoleophobic coating on cotton fabric was applied by simple immersion in TiO 2 nanoparticles, perfluorodecyltriethoxysilane
