Remote Activation of Wnt Signaling and Cell Proliferation by E‐Cadherin Magnetomechanical Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A pioneering magnetogenetic toolkit enables non‐invasive, precise spatiotemporal modulation of intracellular Wnt/β‐catenin signaling. Functionalized magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs@E/EC15) target cellular E‐cadherins to generate localized magnetomechanical forces under low‐intensity magnetic fields.

Anti‐Inflammatory and Neuroactive Effects of Polymer‐Coated Iron Oxide Nanoparticles Functionalized With Interleukin 4 for Spinal Cord Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Polymer‐coated IONPs functionalized with IL‐4 display respective neuroactive and anti‐inflammatory actions on neural progenitor cells and macrophages/microglia in vitro. When examined chronically in a rat experimental model of spinal cord injury, rGO scaffolds carrying these nanosystems adequately integrate into the lesion, significantly reduce ...

Association of Mechanical and Chemical Methods for Cotton Stalk Destruction [PDF]

open access: yesPlanta Daninha
: The destruction of cotton stalks after harvesting is a prophylactic measure aimed at reducing the population of insects and disease inoculants that may remain in the crop residues and remaining cotton plants.

Performance Evaluation of Tractor Operated Cotton Stalk Shredder Cum Uprooter

open access: yes, 2023
A large amount of cotton stalk is generated in India every year. Cotton stalks are burned in the fields as crop residues due to a labour shortage and high investment costs.

Programmable Microgel Degradation in Dynamic Granular Hydrogels Guides Extracellular Matrix Assembly During Tissue Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study reports on the chemical modification of hyaluronic acid to create hydrogels with hydrolytic degradability ranging from 2–28 days. Granular hydrogels that undergo timed degradation to increase porosity enhance cell invasion and provisional ECM remodeling in a muscle injury model, leading to reduced fibrosis and improved regeneration ...
