Nutrition of Germfree Japanese Quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) (I)
前報に引き続き, 無菌ウズラおよび通常ウズラについて, ふ化後6週間にわたり蛋白質効率, Nのみかけの消化吸収率およびN・Ca・Mg・Pの蓄積率を比較した。無菌飼育中のふ化後18日目に細菌汚染をうけた汚染ウズラについても同様に調べた。1. 通常ウズラの第2週以外は, 通常, 無菌両群とも週令の増加とともに蛋白質効率は低下し, 常に無菌ウズラのほうが通常ウズラよりも劣った。汚染によって蛋白質効率は低下したがその後回復した。2. Nのみかけの消化吸収率は無菌ウズラのほうが通常ウズラよりもややよく, 汚染によっても大きな影響をうけなかった。3.
