Understanding the Aqueous Self‐Assembly of Raw Sophorolipid Mixtures Using a Statistical Approach Applied to Synchrotron Small Angle X‐Ray Scattering (SAXS): A Focus on pH, Dilution, Aging, and the Underestimated Role of Residual Fatty Acids

open access: yesJournal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, EarlyView.
The statistical analysis of SAXS modelling data allows to identify the critical physicochemical parameters that have an impact on the phase behavior of crude sophorolipid batches. ABSTRACT The aqueous self‐assembly of raw sophorolipid mixtures has been studied by small angle x‐ray scattering (SAXS) to understand the impact of the composition ...

Surface Charges Guided Quasi‐TEM‐mode Microwave Propagation along Dielectric Nanowire

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
According to Maxwell's equations, a single‐conductor transmission line cannot allow TEM‐mode electromagnetic wave propagation, however, this is based upon the assumption that dielectric material is isolated from the environment. In practice, surface electrostatic charges widely existed in nano‐materials with large surface‐to‐volume ratio.

Long‐Range Interactions in Topological Superconducting Systems: A Mini Review

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
Long‐range interacting quantum systems are surveyed in this review, with an emphasis on the long‐range topological superconductor and its variants. Long‐range interactions decaying in a power‐law manner can lead to exotic phenomena that finds no analogue in short‐range regimes.

Data used in the paper entitled: Unraveling the Complex Interplay: Exploring the Relationships between Seismic and Volcanic Activities in the Colca River Area Using the Coulomb Stress Transfer, published in Seismological Research Letters

open access: yes

We analyzed the static Coulomb stress transfer caused by the selected 28 largest earthquakes from 1991 to 2022 and by magmatic inflation in 2013–2022 to investigate the impact of the Coulomb stress transfer on the seismic ...

Multifunctional Design of Solid Polymer Electrolytes: Paving the Way for High‐Performance All‐Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
This review provides a comprehensive and systematic overview of the multifunctional design strategies for solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs), a pivotal component for enabling high‐performance all‐solid‐state batteries (ASSBs). It begins with a detailed classification of SPE systems and elaborates on their respective molecular design principles. The work

Mapping finite-fault slip with spatial correlation between seismicity and point-source Coulomb failure stress change

open access: yes
Most earthquake energy release arises during fault slip many kilometers below the Earth\u27s surface. Understanding earthquakes and their hazard requires mapping the geometry and distribution of this slip.

Kirkendall‐Effect‐Mediated Hollow Bimetallic Hexacyanoferrates for Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries: Suppressing Jahn–Teller Distortions and Enhancing Ion Transport and Cyclability

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Kirkendall‐engineered hollow Ni–Mn hexacyanoferrates feature Ni‐tunable shell thickness and uniform alloying, coupling architectural control with electronic stabilization. Composition–morphology co‐optimization suppresses Mn³⁺‐driven Jahn–Teller distortions and lowers charge‐transfer barriers, enabling rapid Zn²⁺ transport and reversible redox.
