Unlocking Energy Potential: Exploiting Anionic Redox Activity in Na‐Based Layered Oxides

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Anionic redox in Na‐based layered oxide cathodes unlocks additional capacity beyond conventional transition‐metal redox limits, enabling high‐energy sodium‐ion batteries. This review elucidates coupled cationicanionic redox mechanisms across P2‐, O3‐, and related structural phases, while critically addressing key challenges such as voltage hysteresis ...

Effects of Coulomb stress change on M > 6 earthquakes in the Caucasus region

Physics of the Earth and Planetary Interiors, 2019
Abstract Coulomb stress variations may trigger earthquakes, while the stress transfer process is not clear. In this paper, Coulomb stress changes are investigated for the sequences of strong earthquakes in the Caucasus region, which followed the 1988 Mw6.8 in Spitak, the 1991 Mw6.9 in Racha and the 2000 Mw6.2 in Baku.
