Coulomb Stress Changes after 11 May 2017 Askale-Erzurum(NETurkey) Earthquake (Mw = 4.7)
2020Erzurum city NE Turkey , one of the largest provinces of the eastern Anatolia region are surrounded by many active tectonic units. These tectonic units generated many earthquakes that led to the loss of life and property during the historical and instrumental period.

<p>Sufficient shreds of evidence have proved the existence of the remote triggering effect of large earthquakes. To understand its mechanism, it is necessary to conduct detailed investigations on the influence of the far-field dynamic stress changes on the stress state of faults.

Coulomb stress changes due to main earthquakes in Southeast Iran during 1981 to 2011
Journal of Seismology, 2018Southeast of Iran experienced eight destructive earthquakes during 30 years from 1981 to 2011. Six of these events with M > 6.5 were fatal and caused great human and financial losses in the region. The 1981 July 28 (Mw 7.2) Sirch earthquake with 65 km surface rupture was the largest event in this region since 1877 and with other three earthquakes ...

Coulomb stress change due to 2005 Kashmir earthquake and implications for future seismic hazards
Journal of Seismology, 2008We calculate static stress change due to the 2005 Kashmir earthquake (M = 7.6). We suggest that the earthquake caused significant increase in stress in the Indo-Kohistan seismic zone (IKSZ) region, lying to the NW of the rupture and moderate increase in the adjacent Himalayan region, lying to the SE of rupture.
