Tailored Organogel Systems for Optimized Pesticide Delivery: Mechanistic Insights and Agricultural Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Utilizing molecular engineering for network design, three pesticide‐loaded organogels (PLOs) carriers exhibiting varying degrees of flexibility were prepared. The mechanical properties of these carriers, tunable via their network molecular structures, enhance their structural adaptability and retention stability at biological interfaces, thereby ...

Cortical Somatostatin Neurons Regulate Seizure Susceptibility via MINAR1/Gαs–cAMP Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our study identifies MINAR1 as a novel regulator of cortical interneuron excitability and seizure susceptibility. MINAR1 is preferentially expressed in SST+ interneurons. Genetic ablation of MINAR1 leads to seizure hypersensitivity, reduced SST+ neuron excitability, and impaired Gαs–cAMP signaling, disrupting the E/I balance.

Natural Variations of ZmRLR1 Mediate the Root Lodging Resistance of Maize by Regulating Root Ascorbate and Auxin Homeostasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Root lodging severely limits crop yield and quality. We reveal that ZmRLR1, a plasma membrane b‐type cytochrome, regulates lodging resistance in maize through dual roles: modulating intracellular redox balance and functioning as a novel component of clathrin‐mediated endocytosis to influence auxin homeostasis. Moreover, natural variations in the ZmRLR1

ACSL1‐Dependent Microglial Lipoimmunometabolic Reprogramming Underlies Cognitive Deficits in Alcohol Use Disorder

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that chronic alcohol exposure selectively upregulates ACSL1 expression in prefrontal cortical microglia, driving lipid metabolism reprogramming and lipid droplet accumulation, which activates the NLRP3 inflammasome and sustains neuroinflammation. To reverse this process, a dual‐targeted lipid nanoparticle, siACSL1@LNP‐MR, is designed

High‐Performance Ambipolar Organic Electrochemical Transistors Based on Diketopyrrolopyrrole‐Dialkoxybithiazole Conjugated Polymers for Single‐component Inverters

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Two donor‐acceptor conjugated polymers, incorporating diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) and dialkoxybithiazole (2Tz) units with ethylene glycol (EG) side chains, exhibit relatively balanced ambipolar organic electrochemical transistor (OECT) performance. This ambipolarity enables the realization of single‐component complementary inverters capable of ternary ...

NIPAL1 Drives a Metabolic‐Epigenetic Feedback Loop to Promote Lactate‐Mediated Immune Evasion in Esophageal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study identifies a NIPAL1‐driven metabolic‐epigenetic circuit in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma that promotes glycolysis, lactate accumulation, and H3K18 histone lactylation, forming a self‐sustaining loop that suppresses CD8+ T cell immunity.

Two-dimensional counter-current chromatography: 1st Traditional counter-current chromatography, 2nd acid–base elution counter-current chromatography

Journal of Chromatography A, 2011
An on-line column-switching counter-current chromatography (CCC) with solid-phase trapping interphase is presented in this paper. The large volume injection is avoided using solid-phase trapping interphase. Thereby, totally different chemical composition biphasic solvent system can be utilized to enhance system orthogonality. In the present work, a 140

Universal counter-current chromatography modelling based on counter-current distribution

Journal of Chromatography A, 2009
There is clearly a need for a model which is versatile enough to take into account the numerous operating modes and pump out procedures that can be used with counter-current chromatography (CCC). This paper will describe a universal model for counter-current chromatography based on counter-current distribution.

Counter-current chromatography.

Journal of chromatography, 1991
Abstract The simplicity of counter-current chromatography (CCC) is sometimes overshadowed by a complex description of its mechanical and chromatographic attributes. The universal features of chromatographic theory relevant to CCC are summarized here, using a partition coefficient elution scale to present th chromatogram in a general, readily ...

Counter-current chromatography of black tea infusions

Journal of Chromatography A, 1990
Counter-current chromatography using a multilayer coil planet centrifuge, with solvent system ethyl acetate-butanol-water, permits the separation of black tea infusions into fractions which include pure SII and a mixture of SI and SIa thearubigins. Good resolution of several components of the infusion may be achieved in elution times of 1 to 2 h.
