Throughput in a counterflow pipeline processor
ACM SIGARCH Computer Architecture News, 1995The Counterflow Pipeline Processor, or CFPP, is a unique form of pipelined RISC architecture whose goal is to obtain regular and modular performance from a bi-directional pipeline. In this pipeline, instructions and results move in opposite directions in a counterflow fashion.

On the correctness of the Sproull counterflow pipeline processor
Proceedings Second International Symposium on Advanced Research in Asynchronous Circuits and Systems, 2002The Sproull Counterflow Pipeline Processor Architecture has been posed as a common problem in asynchronous design, so as to compare various design methodologies with one another. Using DI-algebra we discuss a path to a decomposition of the problem, which is subsequently shown to be correct.

The premixed flame in a counterflow
Combustion and Flame, 1982Abstract We examine a premixed flame located in a counterflow of fresh cold mixture and hot burnt gas, the latter at a temperature close to that of adiabatic deflagration. A constant density, high activation energy model is adopted, and the steady state response depends essentially on two parameters, the Lewis number, and the temperature of the ...

Visualization of Counterflow Flames
1992Laminar counterflow flames have been used to study a variety of combustion problems, for example extinction conditions and chemical kinetic mechanisms with a review in Ref. [1], and to provide information for flamelet models of turbulent flames [2].
