We study possible motivations for co-entreprenurial couples to start up a joint firm, using a sample of 1,069 Danish couples that established a joint enterprise between 2001 and 2010. We compare their pre-entry characteristics, firm performance and post-dissolution private and financial outcomes with a selected set of comparable firms and couples.

Towards a convection‐permitting regional reanalysis over the Italian domain
A new convection‐permitting regional reanalysis, SPHERA (High Resolution REAnalysis over Italy), has been developed over Italy and the surrounding seas using the COSMO model at 2.2 km horizontal resolution.

Background: This study’s aim was twofold: (i) to compare starters and non-starters on a professional soccer team in terms of variations in training intensity indexes across a season, calculated through total distance, sprint distance, accelerations (Acc),

Invertible coupled KdV and coupled Harry Dym hierarchies [PDF]
In this paper we discuss the conditions under which the coupled KdV and coupled Harry Dym hierarchies possess inverse (negative) parts. We further investigate the structure of nonlocal parts of tensor invariants of these hierarchies, in particular, the ...

AbstractModal coupling oscillation models for the stellar radial pulsation and coupled-oscillators are reviewed. Coupled-oscillators with the second-order and third-order terms seemed to behave non-systematically. Using the equation by Schwarzschild and Savedoff (1949) with the dissipation term of van del Pol’s type which is third-order, we demonstrate

Conformally coupled dark matter [PDF]
Dark matter is obtained from a scalar field coupled conformally to gravitation; the scalar being a relict of Dirac's gauge function. This conformally coupled dark matter includes a gas of very light ($m\approx 2.25\times 10^{-34} eV$) neutral bosons ...

Fractional-order differential equations with anti-periodic boundary conditions: a survey
We will present an up-to-date review on anti-periodic boundary value problems of fractional-order differential equations and inclusions. Some recent and new results on nonlinear coupled fractional differential equations supplemented with coupled anti ...

A short review of some of the most relevant contributions to non-perturbative QED is done. Since a Gaussian behaviour of QED \`a la $\lambda\phi^4$ has been ruled out by the numerical data, I analyse the other two most reliable scenarios, i.e. triviality
