Coupled Conduction-Convective Heat Transfer in the Louvered Fin Heat Exchanger
Heat Transfer: Volume 4, 2005A comprehensive numerical analysis on the heat transfer process in the louvered fin heat exchanger was conducted. In this paper, the physical and mathematical models on the coupled conduction-convective heat transfer for the louver fin geometry were developed.

HEAT TRANSFER ANALYSIS OF GEOTHERMAL HEAT EXCHANGERS IN GROUND-COUPLED HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS
Heat Exchangers, 2006Utilizing the ground as a heat source/sink, ground-coupled heat pump (GCHP) systems have been gaining increasing popularity for space conditioning in residential and commercial buildings. The geothermal heat exchanger (GHE) is devised for extraction or injection of thermal energy from/into the ground.

Coupled heat transfer through an alveolar structure heated by a uniform heat flux
Materials Today: Proceedings, 2019Abstract Coupled heat transfers through alveolar structures submitted to uniform heat flux are little studied, even for cavities with low aspect ratio. This work presents a numerical study of combined heat transfer through an alveolar structure. The hot wall is heated by a uniform flux while the cold wall is kept isothermal at a constant temperature.

Coupled Laminar Heat Transfer and Sublimation Mass Transfer in a Duct
Journal of Heat Transfer, 1968Consideration is given to gas flow through a parallel-plate channel whose walls are coated with a sublimable material. The duct walls are thermally insulated from the environment, with the result that the heat of sublimation is supplied by the flowing gas stream.

Building Simulation, 2008
This paper describes a two step numerical procedure to determinate empirical transfer function coefficients (TFCs) for vertically heated hollow concrete bricks. For such systems TFCs cannot be generated using the analytical techniques available in the literature such as the z-transfer function method or the space state representation method because of ...

Coupled heat and moisture transfer in multi-layer building materials
Construction and Building Materials, 2009A dynamic mathematical model for simulating the coupled heat and moisture migration through multilayer porous building materials was proposed. Vapor content and temperature were chosen as the principal driving potentials. The discretization of the governing equations was done by the finite difference approach.

Coupled Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer Analysis of Ageing Heat Furnace
2019The Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation provides a useful tool to predict the temperature evolution inside the furnace and in the material. The preheating step of the ageing treatment for aluminium alloy plates from the room temperature to the set temperature was simulated by using ANSYS software.

Coupled convective heat transfer from annular fins in transverse flow
Journal of Applied Mechanics and Technical Physics, 1993In the article under review, conditions for heat exchange are studied and the thermal efficiency of fins in a transverse flow \((\gamma =90\deg)\) is determined for some flow regimes and certain geometric properties of a surface with fins. The problem is regarded as a coupled problem, i.e., simultaneous propagation of heat is allowed both in the heat ...
