Seven level asymmetric inverters with coupled inductors

2015 IEEE 13th Brazilian Power Electronics Conference and 1st Southern Power Electronics Conference (COBEP/SPEC), 2015
This paper proposes two seven level asymmetric inverter with coupled inductors that enable a reduction in the number of controlled switching devices. However, the lack of redundant states and difference in the maximum pole voltages reduce the performance of the inverters due to higher winding currents and saturation of magnetic core.

Coupled-Inductor Magnetics in Power Electronics

1987
Leakages are inseparably associated with magnetic circuits and are always thought of in three different negative ways: either you have them and you don't want them (transformers), or you don't have them but want them (to limit transformer short circuit currents), or you have them and want them, but you don't have them in the right amount (coupled ...

Coupled-Inductor Inversion, Rectification and Cycloconversion

1986
A new PWM approach using three state switching of negatively coupled inductors can be applied to any basic dc-to-dc converter to form single-phase dc-to-ac inverters. Current reference programming gives improvements in linearity, small-signal dynamics, and pulsed-load response. The current programming loops of the flyback and boost inverters are stable

Coupled inductor, constant resistance, broadband delay filter

Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2007
This paper develops a three-terminal delay filter whose topology is an interconnection of only ideally lossless, coupled inductors and capacitors. In the absence of significant capacitive loading at the input and/or output ports, the proposed filter emulates an allpass network whose low frequency delay is twice that afforded by the poles of the ...

Coupled-inductor multi-phase buck converters [PDF]

open access: possible, 2016
In a multi-phase power converter, efficiency is increased and ripple reduced while maintaining transient response and dynamic performance improved by electrically coupling secondary windings of transformers or provided for inductors of respective phases such that current to a load is induced in each phase by current in another phase.
