A High Step-Up Interleaved DC-DC Converter With Voltage Multiplier and Coupled Inductors for Renewable Energy Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
This paper proposes a new interleaved non-isolated high step-up dc-dc converter for interfacing renewable energy applications. The proposed converter achieves a very high step-up voltage gain by using two coupled inductors and a voltage multiplier cell ...

Concepts and methods in optimization of integrated LC VCOs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Underlying physical mechanisms controlling the noise properties of oscillators are studied. This treatment shows the importance of inductance selection for oscillator noise optimization. A design strategy centered around an inductance selection scheme is

Additive Manufacturing of Hetero-Magnetic Coupled Inductors

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging, and Manufacturing Technology, 2021
Coupled inductors are used in power electronics to improve transient response and reduce component size. To further increase inductance density and reduce fringing fields, a combination of different magnetic materials was introduced to create a hetero ...

High step‐up interleaved DC‐DC converter for photovoltaic systems

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2022
This study proposes a new interleaved high step‐up topology based on cross‐coupled inductors and voltage multiplier cells (VMCs). Two series capacitors in VMC are employed to raise voltage gain and diminish peak voltage across switches. Thus, low voltage

Mixed-mode impedance and reflection coefficient of two-port devices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
From the point of view of mixed-mode scattering parameters, Smm, a two-port device can be excited using different driving conditions. Each condition leads to a particular set of input reflection and input impedance coefficient definitions that should be ...

Inductor-coupled KY boost converter

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2010
A KY boost converter with coupled inductors is presented. The voltage conversion ratio is greater than that of the KY boost converter. Hence, this converter is very suitable for high step-up voltage applications. A detailed description of the proposed converter is presented along with a simple mathematical deduction and some experimental results.
