Synchronization of non-weakly coupled aeroelastic oscillators
Synchronized oscillators are ubiquitous in nature and engineering. Despite several models that have been proposed to treat synchronized oscillators beyond weak coupling, the widely accepted paradigm holds that synchronization occurs due to weak ...

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

Directional Flow of Confined Polaritons in CrSBr
CrSBr, a layered magnetic semiconductor, naturally channels self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons into highly directional flow. Its intrinsic optical anisotropy, high refractive index, and strong lightmatter coupling enable long‐range guided modes along the a‐axis, with propagation lengths set by their excitonphoton admixture.

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

From a Thornton and Marion’s textbook problem to physical model: exploring coupled oscillatorsin classical mechanics [PDF]
Problem 12-3 of Chapter 12 in Thornton and Marion’s fifth edition of Classical Dynamics of Particles and Systems, calls for the solution of a pair of equations of motion for a system of one-dimensional coupled harmonic oscillators of mass M and natural

Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) using MgO tunnel barriers face challenges of high resistance‐area product and low tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). To discover alternative materials, Literature Enhanced Ab initio Discovery (LEAD) is developed. The LEAD‐predicted materials are theoretically evaluated, showing that MTJs with dusting of ScN or TiN on ...

Arm‐Length‐Controlled CsPbBr3 Nanocrystals for Tunable Optical and Assembly Behavior
In this work, the synthesis parameters that dictate the formation of armed CsPbBr3 nanocrystals are described, and routes enabling precise control over arm length are proposed. Direct links between morphology and optoelectronic behavior are established.
