Bipartite Consensus Control for Coupled Harmonic Oscillators Under a Coopetitive Network Topology

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
By extending the definition of bipartite consensus to coupled harmonic oscillators, in this paper, we investigate the problem of the bipartite consensus control of coupled harmonic oscillators in directed network topology in which positive and negative ...

Simulation of quantum shortcuts to adiabaticity by classical oscillators

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2023
It is known that the dynamics and geometric phase of a quantum system can be simulated by classical coupled oscillators using the quantum−classical mapping method without loss of physics.

Nonboolean Pattern Recognition Using Chains of Coupled CMOS Oscillators as Discriminant Circuits

open access: yesIEEE Journal on Exploratory Solid-State Computational Devices and Circuits, 2017
Networks of weakly coupled oscillators are special cases of Hopfield networks and as such may be used in building physical systems capable of associative memory recall and pattern recognition.

Influence of the topology of coupled antiferromagnetic oscillators on their mutual synchronization [PDF]

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений: Прикладная нелинейная динамика
The purpose the purpose of this study is to mathematically describe an ensemble of oscillators coupled by a common dipole field, to model and study the synchronization of the three topologies under consideration: a ring, a grid, and a special case of a ...

Entrainment of Weakly Coupled Canonical Oscillators with Applications in Gradient Frequency Neural Networks Using Approximating Analytical Methods

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
Solving phase equations for systems with high degrees of nonlinearities is cumbersome. However, in the case of two coupled canonical oscillators, that is, a reduced model of translated Wilson–Cowan neuronal dynamics, under slowly varying amplitude and ...

Synchronization of coupled stick-slip oscillators [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinear Processes in Geophysics, 2014
A rationale is provided for the emergence of synchronization in a system of coupled oscillators in a stick-slip motion. The single oscillator has a limit cycle in a region of the state space for each parameter set beyond the supercritical Hopf ...

Coupled-Oscillator Associative Memory Array Operation for Pattern Recognition

open access: yesIEEE Journal on Exploratory Solid-State Computational Devices and Circuits, 2015
The operation of an array of coupled oscillators underlying the associative memory function is demonstrated for various interconnection topologies (cross-connect and star-coupled).

Electrode and Microstructure Dependence of Oxygen Diffusion in Ferroelectric Hafnium Zirconium Oxide Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Significant nanoscale oxygen diffusion coefficient variations are measured in ferroelectric hafnium zirconium oxide films with grain boundaries and electrode interfaces exhibiting values 104 times larger than the grain cores. Overall coefficients are 10X larger for films prepared with metal nitride electrodes compared to refractory metals. New insights
