Leeyuan: An Adaptive Courtyard House

Leeyuan is an adaptive housing experiment, and also a home with a studio. The design concept is inspired by the local building modus operandi that takes place when a house needs additional space. It also tries to challenge the local stigma of traditional courtyard houses as a sign of backwardness and the misconception of expensive architectural renewal.
