Covariance Features for Trajectory Analysis
In this work, it is demonstrated that covariance estimator methods can be used for trajectory classification. It is shown that, features obtained via shrunk covariance estimation are suitable for describing trajectories. Compared to Dynamic Time Warping, application of explained technique is faster and yields more accurate results.

This study provides two mathematical tools to best estimate the gravity direction when using a pair of non-orthogonal inclinometers whose measurements are affected by zero-mean Gaussian errors. These tools consist of: (1) the analytical derivation of the

Configuration Stability Analysis for Geocentric Space Gravitational-Wave Observatories
Long-term configuration stability is essential for a space-based gravitational-wave observatory, which can be affected by orbit insertion errors. This paper investigated the stability of a geocentric gravitational-wave observatory from the view of the ...

A Comparison of Analysis of Covariate-Adjusted Residuals and Analysis of Covariance [PDF]
Various methods to control the influence of a covariate on a response variable are compared. In particular, ANOVA with or without homogeneity of variances (HOV) of errors and Kruskal-Wallis (K-W) tests on covariate-adjusted residuals and analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) are compared.

Nonparametric analysis of covariance [PDF]
In the problem of testing the equality of k regression curves from independent samples we discuss three methods using nonparametric estimation techniques of the regression function. The first test is based on a linear combination of estimators for the integrated variance function in the individual samples and in the combined sample. The second approach

Analysis of the Complete Mitochondrial Genome of the Bitter Gourd (Momordica charantia)
Bitter gourd (Momordica charantia L.) is a significant vegetable. Although it has a special bitter taste, it is still popular with the public. The industrialization of bitter gourd could be hampered by a lack of genetic resources.
