Covariant singularities in quantum field theory and quantum gravity
It is rather well-known that spacetime singularities are not covariant under field redefinitions. A manifestly covariant approach to singularities in classical gravity was proposed in [1].

Algebras and their covariant representations in quantum gravity
We study a physically motivated representation of an algebra of operators in gravitational and non gravitational theories called the covariant representation of an algebra.

Frame covariance in quantum gravity [PDF]
We develop a quantum effective action for scalar-tensor theories of gravity which is both spacetime diffeomorphism invariant and field reparameterisation (frame) invariant beyond the classical approximation. We achieve this by extending the Vilkovisky-DeWitt formalism, treating both the scalar fields and the components of the gravitational tensor field

ON THE GENERAL COVARIANCE IN BOHMIAN QUANTUM GRAVITY [PDF]
It is shown explicitly that in the framework of Bohmian quantum gravity, the equations of motion of the space–time metric are Einstein's equations plus some quantum corrections. It is observed that these corrections are not covariant, so that in the framework of Bohmian quantum gravity the general covariance principle breaks down at the individual ...

Near-Optimal Covariant Quantum Error-Correcting Codes from Random Unitaries with Symmetries
Quantum error correction and symmetries play central roles in quantum information science and physics. It is known that quantum error-correcting codes that obey (are covariant with respect to) continuous symmetries in a certain sense cannot correct ...

General covariance in quantum gravity [PDF]
The question of general covariance in quantum gravity is considered in the first post-Newtonian approximation. Transformation properties of observable quantities under deformations of a reference frame, induced by variations of the gauge conditions fixing general invariance, are determined.

Locally Covariant Approach to Effective Quantum Gravity
Despite the fact that quantum gravity is non-renormalisable, a consistent and mathematically rigorous construction of a perturbation series is possible. This is based on the use of the Batalin-Vilkovisky-Becchi-Rouet-Stora-Tyutin formalism for gauge theories, the methods of perturbative algebraic quantum field theory and the principle of local ...
