This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
