Probability-of-Coverage Tolerance Intervals for the Beta Binomial

Psychometrika, 1986
True score tolerance intervals, which are designed to cover a chosen proportion of the conditional distribution of true scores given an observed score, are suggested as alternatives to true score confidence intervals. Using large sample theory, a tolerance interval estimator for the beta binomial is derived.

Coverage probabilities of Rényi confidence bands

1995
Computer simulations are presented concerning the coverage probabilities of confidence bands based on Rényi statistics. Some new bands are also proposed. An English version of this paper can be found in Stud. Sci. Math. Hung. 34, No.1-3, 317-332 (1998; Zbl 0905.62049).

Geometrical Probability, Coverage and Visibility In Random Fields

1994
The present chapter introduces some classical problems of geometrical probability coverage theory and random fields. The emphasis is, however, on practical aspects of the theory. The examples, which illustrate the general theory, focus on computational aspects.
