An optimization coverage algorithm with controllable dynamic parameters

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2016
The energy consumption and coverage is a fundamental problem in the field of wireless sensor networks, which is also a priority issue.Based on the isomorphism of the sensor nodes,an optimized coverage algorithm with controllable dynamic parameters(OCCDP ...

Modelling stem cell differentiation related processes—A practical overview for biologists

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Stem cell differentiation is complex and difficult to control experimentally. This review introduces suitable computational modelling approaches that can support stem cell research, from mechanistic ODE and abstract models to multiscale and deep learning methods.

On the Meta Distribution of Coverage Probability in Uplink Cellular Networks [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Communications Letters, 2017
This letter studies the meta distribution of coverage probability (CP), within a stochastic geometry framework, for cellular uplink transmission with fractional path-loss inversion power control. Using the widely accepted Poisson point process (PPP) for modeling the spatial locations of base stations (BSs), we obtain the percentiles of users that ...

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

RSS-Based Coverage Deployment Method Under Probability Model in 3D-WSN

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Due to the wider application of wireless sensor networks in real life, 3D coverage closer to the actual application environment has become a research hotspot of current sensor networks.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Probability-Based User Management Algorithm for the Hybrid NOMA System

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
In this paper, a novel hybrid non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system that combines the cooperative NOMA (C-NOMA), the original NOMA, and the orthogonal multiple access (OMA) is investigated. The probability-based user management algorithm (PUMA) is

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Neural network probability estimation for broad coverage parsing [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the tenth conference on European chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics - EACL '03, 2003
We present a neural-network-based statistical parser, trained and tested on the Penn Treebank. The neural network is used to estimate the parameters of a generative model of left-corner parsing, and these parameters are used to search for the most probable parse.
