Improving Software Defect Detection With LSTM-Based Semantic Modeling and Class Imbalance Handling

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of the Computer Society
Software Defect Prediction (SDP) plays a vital role in maintaining software quality, especially as modern systems grow in size and complexity. Traditional SDP models that rely on static code metrics often fail to capture the semantic and contextual ...

Toroidal boards and code covering [PDF]

open access: yesAustralas. J Comb., 2015
We denote by $\mathbb{F}_q$ the field with $q$ elements. A radius-$r$ extended ball with center in a $1$-dimensional vector subspace $V$ of $\mathbb{F}_q^3$ is the set of elements of $\mathbb{F}_q^3$ with Hamming distance to $V$ at most $r$. We define $c(q)$ as the size of a minimum covering of $\fqt$ by radius-$1$ extended balls. We define a semiqueen

Ternary Covering Codes Derived from BCH Codes

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Theory, Series A, 1997
The covering radius \(R\) of a code \(C\subset \mathbb F^n_q\) is the smallest integer such that every element in \(\mathbb F^n_q\) is within Hamming distance \(R\) of some codeword in \(C\). The authors construct new ternary linear codes with covering radius 2 by lengthening ternary BCH codes.

WCDMA Uplink Interference Assessment from Multiple High Altitude Platform Configurations

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2008
We investigate the possibility of multiple high altitude platform (HAP) coverage of a common cell area using a wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) system. In particular, we study the uplink system performance of the system.
