Color image and video restoration using tensor CP decomposition
BIT Numerical Mathematics, 2022This paper proposes a new approach to image and video restoration. This approach constructs a degradation model based on a tensor representation, where a color image is represented by a third-order tensor, and a video composed of color images is a fourth-order tensor.

Particle Image Velocimetry of Cold Spray CP Titanium
International Thermal Spray Conference, 2008Abstract Titanium is widely used in aerospace, highly corrosive environments and implants due to unique properties such as high strength to weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance. Cold gas dynamic spray (cold spray) technology in contrast to current fabrication technologies has provided the potential for titanium to be utilised ...

Real‐time imaging of anti‐biofilm effects using CP‐OCT
Biotechnology and Bioengineering, 2015ABSTRACTThe objective of this study was to develop a method to reliably and reproducibly assess the physical properties of in vitro multi‐species plaque derived biofilms. A custom flow cell (FC) was designed to model oral cavity shear stresses on biofilms grown on hydroxyapatite (HA) discs.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by reduced acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity in the post-mortem tissues of AD patients. Therefore, AChE has been an attractive target for the diagnosis of AD. In the present study, 5,7-dihydro-3-[2-(1-(phenylmethyl)-4-piperidinyl)ethyl]-6H-pyrrolo[3,2-f]-1,2-benzisoxazol-6-one (CP-118,954), a potent AChE ...

Contrast pulse sequences (CPS): imaging nonlinear microbubbles
2001 IEEE Ultrasonics Symposium. Proceedings. An International Symposium (Cat. No.01CH37263), 2002Contrast Pulse Sequences (CPS) is an imaging technique based on the processing of nonlinearly generated signals in the fundamental frequency band that can improve sensitivity and specificity to contrast agents compared to second and third harmonic imaging techniques. Several sequences are examined using an adopted power series model.

CP-Net: Channel Attention and Pixel Attention Network for Single Image Dehazing
2020An end-to-end channel attention and pixel attention network (CP-Net) is proposed to produce dehazed image directly in the paper. The CP-Net structure contains three critical components. Firstly, the double attention (DA) module consisting of channel attention (CA) and pixel attention (PA).
