Research on mosquito feeding preferences and the malaria parasites they transmit is essential for understanding the interactions between hosts, vectors, and parasites. In this study, vertebrate hosts were identified in 72 mosquitoes. Most blood meals (58.7%) came from birds, representing 25 species, while 40.0% came from mammals (13 species), and 1.3 ...

Type-III seesaw in non-holomorphic modular symmetry and leptogenesis
Recently, Qu and Ding, have proposed a formalism where modular invariance is extended to non-supersymmetric scenario considering Yukawa couplings as non-holomorphic functions of modules field τ. Adopting this formalism in this work, we propose a Type-III

Stable Isotope Analysis as a Tool to Prevent Illicit Wildlife Trade of Songbirds in Brazil
Feather isotopes provide clear differences between wild and captive songbirds in Brazil. Combining multiple isotopes improved classification accuracy and revealed individuals falsely declared as captive‐bred. These results demonstrate the potential of isotope analysis to detect wildlife laundering in the bird trade.

ABSTRACT There is a scarcity of data regarding knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) of endodontists about cone‐beam computed tomography (CBCT), which may be related to the lack of valid and reliable measures. The present study aimed to develop and validate a KAP measure about CBCT.

Global agricultural value chains and food prices
Abstract We study the relationship between the extent of participation in global agricultural value chains (GAVCs) and food prices at the country level. Using longitudinal data on a sample of 138 countries for the period 2000–2015 and a shift‐share instrumental variable design, we study how the extent of a country's participation in GAVCs in a given ...

Topologically induced local P and CP violation in hot QCD
Very stringent experimental bounds exist on the amount of P and CP violation in strong interactions. Nevertheless, the presence of non-Abelian topological solutions and the axial anomaly make the issue of CP invariance in QCD non-trivial ("the strong CP ...

Lepton models from non-holomorphic $${A}_{5}{\prime}$$ modular flavor symmetry
In the framework of non-holomorphic modular invariance approach, we have systematically constructed all minimal lepton models based on the non-holomorphic $${A}_{5}{\prime}$$ modular symmetry from a bottom-up approach.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this paper is to study the differences and similarities between emerging market multinationals (EMNEs) and developed market multinationals (DMNEs) in their levels of adoption of environmental management policies and environmental disclosure practices when they increase their international diversification.

A lower bound on the right-handed neutrino mass from wash-in leptogenesis
Leptogenesis is an attractive scenario for the generation of the baryon asymmetry of the Universe that relies on the dynamics of right-handed neutrinos (RHNs) in the seesaw extension of the Standard Model.
