An Uncertainty Based Approach for Dealing With Selection Bias in Non‐Probability Samples
Summary The main issue with non‐probability samples is that the standard design‐based approach cannot be applied as the selection mechanism is unknown. In this paper, the concept of uncertainty on data generating model, resulting from the lack of knowledge of the sampling design acting in the non‐probability sample, is discussed.

Abstract This paper introduces a novel heuristic method, the smart selective navigator (SSN), for addressing arc routing problems (ARPs) with a focus on integrating hard turn restrictions in urban winter operations. Addressing a significant gap in existing ARP methodologies, SSN seamlessly incorporates common side constraints, such as vehicle ...

CP Violation in B Mixing and Decays
Recent LHCb results on CP violation in B mixing and decays are reported. The analyses are based on 1 fb−1 of pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV recorded in 2011.

ABSTRACT Aim Climate change has influenced the evolution of the world's biota, shaping species distributions, promoting diversification and causing extinctions. The turbulent climatic oscillations of the Pleistocene, which caused repeated periods of isolation and secondary contact, have left lasting signatures on the genomes of species across the world.

The effects of bank mergers on listed U.S. borrowers
Abstract We examine the effects of U.S. bank mergers on listed U.S. borrowers. Target bank borrowers receive lower loan spreads and no change in loan amount post‐merger in comparison to pre‐merger. In contrast, acquiring bank borrowers receive an increase in loan amount and a relatively small decrease in loan spread in the post‐merger period.

Neutron Electric Dipole Moment on the Lattice
For the neutron to have an electric dipole moment (EDM), the theory of nature must have T, or equivalently CP, violation. Neutron EDM is a very good probe of novel CP violation in beyond the standard model physics.

ABSTRACT Background The CTNNB1 syndrome is a neurodevelopmental disorder considered an ultra‐rare disease, first discovered in 2012. Given its comorbidity of symptoms with more prevalent diseases, such as ASD or CP, many CTNNB1 syndrome patients had previously received those diagnosis. Therefore, the aim of this study is to establish differences on the
