To Assess the Study of Pro- BNP, CPK -MB and Troponin Level in Acute Myocardial Infarction

Indian Journal of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, 2021
Introduction: One of the greatest causes of death and morbidity in the world is acute myocardial infarction(AMI). Atherosclerotic coronary artery disease (CAD) with plaque erosion or breakup, causing transient, partial or total arterial occlusion, is the most common cause of AMI.

CPK-MB isoenzyme determinations

The Journal of Trauma: Injury, Infection, and Critical Care, 1980
The incidence of myocardial contusion in patients with blunt chest trauma was examined. The criterion used for diagnosing contusion--actual cellular injury--was based on detection of the MB-isoenzyme of creatine phosphokinase, a sensitive and specific marker for cardiac cellular injury.

EVALUATION OF BNP, CPK-MB AND TROPONIN-I LEVEL IN ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION

INDIAN JOURNAL OF APPLIED RESEARCH
Introduction: Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is one of the greatest causes of death and morbidity around the globe. Methods: This study was conducted in the Department of Biochemistry at IGIMS, Patna during Dec 2021 to Jun 2022 as a case-control study. Total 80 individuals were considered for the study, 40 each in case and 40 in control groups.

Myocardial Damage and Electrical Injuries

Southern Medical Journal, 1986
Significant cardiac complications among immediate survivors of high-voltage electrical injuries are less common than previously suspected. Transient arrhythmias predominate. The MB isoenzyme of serum creatine phosphokinase may be factitiously elevated within the first 48 hours after injury.

[The specificity of the CPK MB enzyme kinetic test for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (author's transl)].

Giornale italiano di cardiologia, 1977
The clinical usefullness of the CPK MB test (spectophotometric method) was evaluated on 139 patients admitted to a Cardiovascular Diseases Department with a diagnosis of suspected myocardial infarction. Serial determinations of serum MB isoenzyme creatine kinase, total creatine kinase, lacate dehydrogenase and hydrossibutirrate dehydrogenase were made ...
