Two‐Dimensional Frameworks From Metal Oxo Clusters at Liquid Interfaces

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.
A two‐dimensional analog of the hexagonally close‐packed UiO‐66 metal–organic framework is assembled as a Langmuir monolayer at liquid interfaces using preformed metal oxo clusters and tailor‐made organic linkers. Coordination‐driven self‐assembly governs film formation, while linker amphiphilicity confines growth to two dimensions.

Clinical profiles associated with rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease in antisynthetase syndrome: A multicentric cohort study (TYPASS study)

open access: yesJournal of Internal Medicine, Volume 299, Issue 3, Page 365-380, March 2026.
Abstract Objectives To assess factors associated with rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease (ILD) (RP‐ILD) at time of ILD diagnosis in a multicentric retrospective cohort study of antisynthetase syndrome (ASyS). We used a complementary unsupervised approach, hierarchical clustering, to delineate distinct phenotypes among ASyS patients with ILD.

Selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibition protects against myocardial damage in experimental acute ischemia

open access: yesClinics, 2009
BACKGROUND: Acute myocardial infarction is associated with tissue inflammation. Early coronary reperfusion clearly improves the outcome but may help propagate the inflammatory response and enhance tissue damage.

Mercury in the Needle: A Case of Malicious Injection and Toxicity

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Intentional or accidental injection of mercury into soft tissue is rare. Mercury toxicity typically arises from ingestion or inhalation with instances of subcutaneous injection documented in a limited number of case studies. Most reported cases involve either accidental exposure or deliberate acts, often presenting as painful granulomas, with ...

Evaluation of an Ayurvedic polyherbal formulation (Sindhuvaradi agada) in Doxorubicin induced Cardiotoxicity- in wistar rats

open access: yesIndian Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine KLEU, 2018
Background: Presently cancer is second major cause of death in India. Doxorubicin, an anthracycline is frequently used to treat various human malignancies but at same time its use is warranted with irreversible cardiomyopathy.

Correlating Thompson score and cardiac dysfunction in neonates suffering from perinatal asphyxia – A prospective observational study

open access: yesAsian Journal of Medical Sciences
Background: Perinatal asphyxia continues to be a leading cause of neonatal morbidity and mortality worldwide. It causes multiorgan failure with brain involvement as the major organ of concern (hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy). Cardiac dysfunction is also
